Sardar Patel Narmada Trek, (SPNT) A National Level Trekking Camp was conducted by NCC Group Headquarter Vadodara, under the aegis of NCC Directorate Gujarat.

A Total of 510 cadets from Karnataka, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Gujarat Participated in this camp. From MGN PUBLIC SCHOOL, KAPURTHALA 04 Cadets CDT Vithal, CDT Himanshu Kaura, CDT Hasratpreet Singh, CDT Anirudh Das along with ANO T/O KARAN BHALLA were part of the SPNT Camp.     
The aim of organizing SPNT was to Promote National Integration by gathering enthusiastic National youth from all faiths, castes and cultural identity at a place which towered by the Ironman of India. 
The trek infused the spirit and passion for adventure, Preservation of forests, Sustainable Development and motivated them to learn about local culture and traditions of Vibrant Gujarat amongst the Young Cadets.

Activities at the Camp Included

Trek to Junaraj – It was nearly 25km from base Camp at NCC Academy Jeet Nagar to Junaraj.

Trek to Karjan Dam – It was shorter trek about 8 K.M. It was beautiful dam surrounded by Hilly Forest Region.


Other Activities – Everyday in the evening different games were played and Competitions were held at base Camp. In Tug of war our Cadets got Second Position.
